mgt 8.0 RW RACING custom gears
I've just received my hardened steel 52T spurgear to fit my mgt 8.0,
an engineering shop in England called RW racing has them in stock as he has made a production run of them,
fit and finish is excellent,
These spurgears set the gear ratio perfect for those with the mgt 8.0
Wanting to run a higher rpm 28 or 30 size engines,
no more burning up clutches for me,
He has more in stock and are £20 shipped,
great value.

Can some one please tell me which 17mm hub extensions i need to use for my mgt 8.0?? This is driving me crazy!!! Integy makes them for the savage x 6mm axle #c23106 and for the tmaxx/revo c23103 but they look identical!! Tmaxx has 6mm axles right? So why wouldnt they fit mgt? Do i need the ones for the savage?? I need to push my wheels away from the chassis becuase my big joes are rubbing on control arms and they just plain out look stupid!! Please help!! Thanks

Whats the stock spur gear? 49t? So now your gonna have less top end and more acceleration off the start huh? Is that what your after? Because from my experiance with my mgt 8.0 i feel its lacking a little bit of top end speed. I was thinking about gearing mine a touch taller.but now i got the masher 1/2inch offset wheels and tires so maybe i should gear down a little

These steel 52t spurgear are for running 28 size engines in the mgt 8.0
the stock gearing on the 8.0 is 49t spurgear,
this is much too tall a gear for the higher reving 28 engines,
my 28 with 16t clutchbell and 52t spurgear will out accelerate and top out faster than any 8.0
