Default Unexpected swim in the sea

The Bug crusher is back in full swing, or should I say "was", this afternoon I was having an enormous amount of fun thundering the dune grass and tearing up the sand right up until I took my eye off the car to see off another dog that was being aggressive to my little miniature pincher who was by my feet as usual, look up to see the car about to be drowned by a wave on the beach. Queue "BUGGER" moment and wet feet as I ran to it's rescue.

I have pulled the glow plug and turned the engine over and have even had it running so the engine has not sustained any damage.

But the steering servo is acting up even though the throttle servo is doing it's thing quite normally now.

I have rinsed the whole truck off with fresh clean water and put after run oil in the engine, sprayed all of the electricals and servo's with WD40 to dispel any moisture but the steering servo persists, I'm going to wait for the car to dry fully in the airing cupboard and then see what the servo does.

If the servo does not act normally, will just the servo need replaced or could the problem be linked to the transmitter?

Most likely the servo if evrything else works. Do you have another servo to test? Or maybe swap them to see if the steering servo is still acting up when on the throttle channel.

I didn't think abt swapping the channels, might try that to see if it cures, I did pull the receiver out an WD40 that and it is also on the heater drying out now.

Everything is all dried out and the steering servo does it's own thing on either channel so have ordered two new ones just in case the throttle servo pcks up later on.

Still looking for help on my engine mount query if anyone can help?
