Default RE: Help Fuji 35 on a katana 120 ?

I had a Fuji Bt 32 in a 13.5 lbs Midwest Extra. It pulled it OK and it would even hover, however it could not pull it out and often it would just fall out. Not a bad little motor but it lacks grunt power. It can spin a Zinger 18-8 to 8300 rpm but if the revs drop it losses power quickly. If your all up weight comes out at under 12 lbs it may work OK. Also I found that APC 18-8 gives the best thrust with this engine because it needs to rev. Also you may come out to heavy with this motor. It does weigh 4 pounds and a bit ready to fly.
