Default Is it really a Carden?

Anybody have an idea of what this is? It says Carden Aircraft on the side, but anybody can put a sticker on. I'm just trying to find specs for the right CG, AUW, etc. Its sized like a 35%, the fuse from rudder to spinner tip is about 90 inches.

any ideas?

Yes that is a Carden kit built Extra. I would say built around 1998. As IMAC sequences got more difficult there were liberties taken with the scale outlines. Usually a fuselage stretch and the location of the stab on the fuselage was lowered. Control surface sizes were also increased. Being that yours is fairly scale, it is one of the early kits.

Thanks, that makes sense. I figured it was kinda old, but it is in such great shape, I couldn't pass up the price. It'tt be interesting to see what this thing can do 3D wise. I know it will perform differently from the newer airframes, especially ones with larger control surfaces, but again, it will be interesting none the less. Heck, if it sucks 3D, it'll stilll be fun aerobatically I'm sure.

Thanks again!
