Jonny, would you believe it? It is only a matter of 12 years since you asked other members of RCU about the CG and throws on your 74" Edge 540. I just picked up one without any sort paperwork and have been asking the very same questions that you asked back then. Dare I ask if you ever got your answers and if might them tucked away somewhere and would please share the with me? I figure on using a Saito 180 or 150. Many thanks!

Jerry, I thought we had cleared this up in your other thread. What you have is not an Edge 540. You have a Cap 232, one of which I beleive was manufactured by World Models.

Hi, thanks again for your help, effort and copying of the World Models Cap 232. Not certain if you got my earlier emailed reply but, the line drawing of the World Model Cap 232 show an engine box where my mystery plane has a totally different configuration. There are other differences that show the two planes are not the same. However, since the wingspan and power range of the two are close, I will start out accepting the CG location and control deflections from the manual you provided. Many thanks! Jerry S

Just in case...

CG Wing tube or slightly forward

Ailerons High 23° Low 15°
Elevators High 40°+ Low 12°
Rudder High 45° Low 25°

Maybe I’ll actually build this one day 😉
