Ohio R/C Models AT6 Texan - HELP!!
Hi All. I bought an Ohio Models AT6 from a guy here in Switzerland on the local version of ebay (Ricardo.ch) When it arrived I discovered it was ¨started" . What I mean by that is the centre wing section had been assembled . The work looks like it was done by a dachshund with its eyes closed. Now I know why he was selling! No parts are properly aligned, some don't even touch! and theres epoxy everywhere so its unsavable. Still I got the kit and custom Robart retracts for less than $400 so I'm keeping it. Now I guess Ohio R/C are no more because I can't find them anywhere on the web. If I'm wrong please let me know. I need a new set of parts cut for the centre wing section. Does anybody know if any kit cutters already cut this model? I knowI can have it done from scratch but I guess thats going to be expensive.
many thanks,
Phil

Phil,
There is a company that has picked up the manufacturer of Ohio RC kits. Sorry that I don't recall the name right now- perhaps someone else can assist.
You might consider doing your own center section from Ziroli plans. They should be the same size and use the Robart retracts.

Phil,
The name of the company your looking for is ProCraft Models. Unfortunately they do very little advertising and I don’t believe they have a site on the web. They are also plans only, no more kits :-(
Try here If you need a cutter:
http://www.precisioncutkits.com
They list the Procraft line.

RE: Ohio R/C Models AT6 Texan - HELP!!
Thanks for the help Guys. I know I shoulkd just set to and cut the parts but with two little kids at home I get precious little time in the workshop and prefer to spend it gluing and sanding rather than cutting. I'll follow the laeds anyhow and as you say, if all else fails there's always the old fashioned way. PS Just picked up a 1/3 Waco WMF - 5 bY Peter Barth on the cheap, The AT-6 might have to wait a bit......that waco looks just gorgeous!

Procraft are actually making kits again. I spoke with Bob last week, and he is doing it full time again. If I can get his number I will PM you....he is the guy you need to talk to.
