Default Pitts muffler for DLE-55

Hi All,

I'm looking for a recommendation on a Pitts style muffler for the DLE-55 gas engine. I want to use this style muffler to minimize the cowl modifications required, and preserve the scale look of a giant scale DC-3.

I've seen DLE-55 Pitts style mufflers offered from between $28 (no-name brands on Banggood & AliExpress) to $140 (JTEC brand from Chief). I *really* want a quality product, and don't mind paying for it, but frankly they all look exactly the same. At one time higher price = higher quality, but that doesn't always seem to be true today!

So, what is a good quality, trouble-free brand of mufflers these days?

I already have the side exhaust DLE-55 engines, so the 'RA' version is not really an option!

Thanks!

I’ve used all the common brands with success but by far the best quality is the J&A Engineering brand available from Extreme Flight RC. All TIG welded with strength where needed all in a reasonable weight package. Not cheap though. .
