I am really wanting one of the Lanier Edge 540 30% ARFs and was wondering for unlimited power what engine people are running? Also, where is the best place to buy this kit, and an engine? I have been into heli's most exclusively for the last 3 years and have sort of gotten out of touch.

PS - If anyone is interested in a trade for a high end 60 size helicopter let me know!

ZDZ 80 is awesome in this plane. I have seen it with the ZDZ 60 and it didnt have enough power to pull out of hover when the tail got stuck in the bushes. With the 80 it has plenty of power

Three - Yep.. it is me the Chad from Space City. I have actually moved to Indiana within the last 2 weeks, but will be coming down next weekend to CD the big heli Fun Fly at the club. So that will be my last time there. Sorry to hear you are leaving the hobby. Let's talk about a price. I need to sell one of my heli's to do this, but maybe if I got lucky enough to sell it at the event next weekend I could then in turn hand you over cash. Let me know. I am interested. how about the DA 50. It seems like it would pull it around nicely. More powerful than the G062 and 1.5 pounds lighter.

The DA 50 would make it a dog. this plane is going to be 21-23lbs. Mine had a 3W 70 and it was plenty, and would take off out of a hover, we just flew my friends with a 3w 75, and its a rocket with it too.

I have a 3W-75 in her turning a MSC 24/10 and MAN.. Couldn't ask for more power. Flys just great with this set-up. I've got Li-ion batteries on my Xmas list so maybe I'll be able to lighten her up some! Happy Flying!
