Default Ix 20 DB warning??

I have a new 12 flight plane and i’m using a ix20 and a AR8020T receiver. Today when coming out of a pattern manuver, quite low (25-30’) i received a DB -83 warning. I immediately landed and packed up to look into the warning. Strangely i only had 14 frame loses in the 6-7 minutes of flying. the low frame losses in the 7 mins of flight, and the low db dosen’t make sense. All this 2.4 stuff i’m still learning. I ranged checked it once home and got 40 plus paces at reduced power before it started saying something about dbs. I would think a hold would be much worse than a db warning, but thats just my thought.
Any thoughts appreciated.

You can have 100% packet delivery with low signal level. This is because the packets (frames) do not rely on signal strength for delivery.

You can have delivery failures with high signal level. If another transmitter is jamming a frequency you are on, the packet may be lost even though signal strength is high.
