its not made by AE, its made by thunder tiger. HP ratings are impossible to derive from an RC engine, so i cant give u he exact rating as far as that is concerned. However - for a RTR engine, it is a powerhouse.
about as powerful as an OS .12CV-R

u may have seen it at associated, i have also seen that number at towerhobbies - but the engine is made by thundertiger, and they dont release hp numbers because they know it can be altered to whatever the manufacture wants it to be

varad - u cannot generalize what a particular displacement makes in hp. first, u cannot derive hp numbers from mulitple manufactures and compare, since each one gets the hp numbers differently. temp, humidity, fuel, and tuning also play a part. but the general concensus is that the rtr .15's put out somewhere around .5 - .9hp =- and the top 15outlaw race engines are sitting somewhere around 1.6 - 2.2 - again, these numbers cannot be confirmed, and are just meant as a guide

sledmass - i also have used that engine in the past, and liked it alot. it had incredible power for an RTR engine - far more than most, and it always ran cool.
