Actually, there is one stage of compression, and the turbine wheel is a "single spool" turbine. There are multi stage compressors, and multi spool turbines, but only in full scale engines.
All of the model turbines have a single stage centrifigal compressor driven by a single spool axial flow turbine wheel, with only a couple of noteable exceptions. The JPX engines, and the old Sophia clone engines and the Turbomin had centrifigal compressors and turbines. The Turbomin was even reverse-flow.
The KJ-66 engines (that covers most in use today, including RAM's), and the AMT's follow the same basic layout....centrifigal compressor, annular combustor, and axial flow turbine wheel.

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

Here's a pic of an model turbine with a 5 stage axial flow compressor.
I don't think in production, could you image the price..............[X(]
Check out the GTBA website, there's a couple of nice pics of a turbofan engine.
Cheers

Now that piece of wonder looks like it has just the right proportions for just about any airliner with JT8D's...
Perhaps a Boeing 737-200.. ...or a MD-80?

Now all one need is a decent thrustreverser and a million bucks..

Multiple stages are great, very efficient, but imagine replacing the hot section! That little engine would cost around $8000 every 100 hours.
