savage xl with lrp zr 32
Just put the lrp 32 in my savage xl and im just wondering if i should get a new pipe for it or just carry on using the hpi pipe ?.
What do you guys think ?

The HPI stuff will work, but another setup will do better. If you have a horseshoe shaped manifold, go to a conical manifold - shorter for more speed and longer for more torque. The manifold has more influence than the pipe. Novarossi 41021 is a cylindrical long manifold. A good standby. 41031 or 41032 are good shorty conical manifolds good for speed. I’ll have to look at my chart for long conical manifolds to give a suggestion. As for a pipe - a Novarossi 9886 is hard to beat for all around power. A 9853 is good for more low end response. Again, the pipe has less to do with it than the manifold does, so changing that alone may give you some pep.
