180nx won’t accelerate past 60,000 rpm
Hello,
I have a 180nx. It’s starts. Runs. But when the throttle is advanced it will accelerate some. But not past 60,000rpm or so. UAT. And all fuel systems fine. Tried a new 12.0 ECU. Still doesn’t work.
I ran it yesterday and it was fine.
Dave…..any advice?
thanks,
Derrick

Have you looked at pump voltages when it’s running?
When you open the throttle stick, when it stops accelerating what happens with the commanded rpm figure under the actual rpm figure?
I would do a system reset, (Hold select menu down until it says system reset on power up and then relearn RC) This clears the stored pump/rpm mapping back to default. Try again

I believe I tried a reset and relearned. The max pump volt is set in the ecu at 4.65. When the throttle is advanced it stops between 1.9 and 2.2 volts. And won’t accelerate any higher. I will try and reset again today. It ran fine during ground test at home. At an event now it’s acting up.
Thanks,

Temps are good on startup. Set acceleration to slow and normal. Advanced throttle super slow. No joy. Sending engine in to Powerbox USA
i will post the diagnosis when I get the engine back.
Thanks
