Default New ESCs

I recently had an ESC fail on a home built hexacopter which caused a relatively minor crash. I'm going to replace them with DJI E600/E800 ESCs which have recessed A, B and C receptacles. My question is how do you secure a brushless motor's bullet connectors into an ESC with recessed receptacles? Spreading the bullet connector so that it fits more snugly in the receptacle is a non option for me. I don't trust that solution. All the ESCs I've used to date, including DJI E Series have had external receptacle lugs. After plugging in the wires, I used heat shrink to secure the bullet connector to the receptacle lug. This has worked over the years and I've never had an motor wire come loose from an ESC. For these recessed receptacles, the answer probably involves solder but I'm not sure how and still be able to easily remove wires as I can do now.
