Quadra Engine Size
Hello all,
I have an older Quadra engine that I assumed was a 40cc. Well, when I ordered the 40cc piston and ring, it was too small. The case looks almost identical in size to the 35cc. The markings on the case are as follows: RD 502, 20800, PETCO and Made in Canada. This engine has no breaker points.
Any ideas on how big (or small) this engine is?
Thanx,
Tom

RE: Quadra Engine Size
Petco was the "in between" company from Quadra to US Engines...It has to be a 41 or 42, check with Dick Bennett at www.bennettbuilt.com..

I have a 40 size Quadra sitting on my bench, it is partially disassembled but it did run. Can't find any numbers on the case and it is a point style engine if it would be help to you. Cant tell how long it has been sitting there!
