Yes Josh it is a direct replacement for the TRX 2.5 and 3.3 carb. And it has a resin liner to separate the carb from the engine, to keep the carb cooler than the engine. If you are running a 3.3, I would suggest either sending it to RCR mods and letting them work it over for a hundred bucks, or just buying a modded crankshaft from them for it. If you're wanting to keep it small block, which is the Traxxas engine, that will give you more power than you could imagine alongside the k11 carb. If you're building a truck with a lot of aluminum parts, such as arms Towers bulkheads skids and such, you might want to consider a big block engine. But if you're going to keep the truck basically stock then you can use a small block and get fast with it. I recommend keeping the wheelie bar on if you modify the engine in any way, or you will constantly be running to flip it back over on its Wheels.
