Another bargain I got hands on as 3rd. hand, brand new, never flown, 12 YO model. Is anyone flying one of these rare birds? Please drop in what you got, and know.
50 size Bell-429.
The tiny gyro quit during bench blade track.
Replaced, ready for action.
Maiden flight, all good.

Took me a while to find out what is an optimum voltage to fly this model, initially thinking it was a 6S set up, I have decided on 5S - running hot, test flew it even on 6S - almost cooking all the E-components after short flight, finally realized after further search it was designed only for 4S.
Wish I have known right from the start to save me all the initial dramas and wasted time.
LOL now, after each enjoyable flying session, running smooth as a silk. I like it.
Almost cook it after some 4 min. flight on 6S!!!
Mini helicopter outing day.
