I took it out today and had a remote malfunction and idled it into the shore. I tried again with the antenna up and seemed to work. I tried to find out how it would run and it bogged until it got on step. Then it started flying and I was rewarded with another remote malfunction while full speed into the bank. I got out of the briar patch. The prop was destroyed luckily since it was facing out ready to make another run. Time to go back to the bench for some repairs and throw out the remote.

Just curious, what radio set are you using? I use a Futaba four channel that has worked well for me for several years

I wouldn't use anything that I couldn't verify is good to control my boats. There's just too much risk of someone getting hurt to risk it. Many times, what you find at a swap meet is stuff that is either seriously outdated or possibly abused. With the amount of money I put into a boat, I'm not going to risk hitting something or someone with one

I was hoping for just out dated since it was a crystal setup.

The prop got destroyed in the crash and I was trying to figure out what prop I should put back on it. It is the TFL outboard, with I believe a 2845 in runner, cable drive. I'm running a 3s 30c 2200ma battery. The boat is 19" long. Looking to go plastic again to not beat up the motor. Any recommendations?

You could try Mack Products since they carry a few plastic props
index (mackproductsrc.com)
Another option would be Offshore Electrics since they have a selection of plastic, fiberglass and carbon fiber filled props. As far as which one to use, you would have to talk to them since that's what they do

Just a chance anyone has contact information for the website 152vo.de moderators?

I don't know if the 152vo.de site is still functioning. I have tried multiple times to join the forum but receive no login information back to my email.
