Was the OS No. 7 Glow Plug With Idle Bar Considered A Short Reach Glow Plug?
I have some OS H60F Glow Engines I purchased in the early 70s and the instructions that come with them recommend an OS No. 7 or No. 9 Glow Plug with an Idle Bar. FYI, I tried using glow plugs without the Idle Bar and they didn't idle very well. FYI, I dropped out of the hobby for about 15 or 20 years and now OS doesn't make any Glow Plugs with Idle Bars. Can one of you OS Manufacturer's Representatives look back in history and let me know if the H60F Engines were designed to run on a Short Glow Plug? I think that's the case, but I'm not sure.
