Is it anything like this?
Owner is Neil Giggins in WA (Australia).
Home made plane and home made KJ66.
Not bad, eh?
Flies like a dream too.
- Oops, this is a Cougar, innit?

Hey vincent, its not the best but 1: i have a fod screen, and 2: the aircraft with no flaps was ready to go at around 400 ft. Its a 650 ft runway with 250 ft foot overruns. Its pretty cracked up, but when i say this, i am not bullsh*ttin..........i didnt even need to touch nosewheel steering, and it tracked straight down the line. SHONNY, the aircraft you pictured is an f-9f6,7,8 COUGAR the aircraft i built is the same aircraft except earlier in age, and is an f-9f5 PANTHER. It has stright wings as opposed to the swept ones. Heres a pic of it out at the field. See you all at the rally. Nick

Pantherflyr,
Did you build from plans or is there a kit available for this plane?
I'd love to build either the Panther or the Cougar.

Hey pete, this is all plans. We custom made everything for it that wasnt on the plans, gear doors, ss exhaust (dual wall), cockpit, bypass, and speedbrakes. I liked building it, took along time, i am active duty air force and dont have alot of time to begin with. I really dont know if i would do it again. But i am definetly a "builder" and a "flyer". My friend wayne was the inspiration behind most of the crap thats on the jet. We were ready to paint the jet and he said"Let make functional speedbrakes" i was like no way are we cuttinginto this fuse, but sure nuff. And it worked! A regular tim the toolman taylor he is. NIck

Pantherflyr,
Congrats. on your maiden flight, the Panther has a presence in the air like no other plane. Iv'e had two of them and both flew great. Hope to see you at Mesa in a couple of weeks, we can kick some tires.
