Piccolo Fun--- I need help
I have three heli's and I can fly the nitro's fairly well. I have a lot of problems flying this piccolo. I can hover for about 10-15 seconds and then the thing starts spinning counter-clockwise and is extremely hard to correct. Can anyone help me? Everything on the heli is stock .

Here are a [link=http://www.ikarus-modellbau.de/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=138982&page=0&view=collap sed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1]few[/link] - [link=http://www.pgoelz.com/piccolo1.html]good[/link] - [link=http://www.dream-models.com/h/flying-index.html]links[/link] that should get you going. What battery do you have (cell count, mAh and Nicad or NiMH)? What are you using to charge them?
On possibility is that you have a low charge on the batteries, and as the main motor pulls more current to fly, there is less available for the tail.
You are using a piccoboard? I believe on one of the links above that there is a troubleshooting guide.
Is the tail pinion slipping? A drop of CA on the gear/shaft might help. Be careful not to let it run into the motor.
Good luck. Let us know how you do.

On the NiMH batteries, it takes a few cycles to get them up to full capacity. This is normal. after 4 or 5 cycles, you should be in better shape.
I do not like the overnight chargers. A peak detecting charger does a better job in my opinion. But, also in my opinion, you should get Lithium Polymer batteries and a charger than can handle them. Much higher energy density, so you fly longer.

RE: Piccolo Fun--- I need help
I am now on about my fifth charge and I few today hovered for about 45 seconds at about 10 feet, then it went crazy again and the tail got all wacky again and I crashed. Amazing to me it did no damage at all, just the rotor popped off, but that happens to me a lot. I will keep plugging away at it.
