fuel tank tubing
I'm going to using gas engines for the first time and wanted to know what type of tubing do you use inside the fuel tank? I've got a Sullivan tank (not the Flex tank), Dubro gas stopper but not sure what tubing to use inside. The tygon tubing has a rather thick wall so I can't see how it could be as flexible as a silicon piece of tubing within the tank but is there a thin wall Tygon tubing? Yes, I know you can't use silicon tubing in a gas fuel tank.
Also do you use the standard size 1/8" brass tubing or go with the bigger 3/16" brass tubing?
One engine is a Quadra 52
the other engine is an Mvvs 1.6

Custom Injection (714 554 0531) sells molded neoprene fuel tubing...The tubing that comes with the tank will flow more gas than your engines will ever use..We used it on an Aerrow 200 twin that clocked 220 mph in a race in Galveston...The molded neoprene works perfectly well for the klunk line, and is very flexible....I use the neoprene in the tank on my engine test stand..It sits in the gasoline for 6 months or more before needing replacement, and will not get hard and slip off or leak....Works great for the line to the carb also....

I use the Aerotrend fuel tubing. I have found that it lasts longer than my planes or application. It can sit in gas for 2 years without adverse effect.

Check with your local chainsaw shop. Most chainsaws have a clunk weight in the fuel tank with fuel line on them. They work on chainsaws for years.
