Hi I am new here and I have an Evader ST. I was running my evader and doing some real crazy stuff with it. Actually I was only jumping over a boat and a fence, I have done worse then that and when I tried to turn my truck around the front wheel hit the side of the fence, it wasn't in the air and it wasn't going that fast. Then I noticed that the truck wouldn't steer and upon closer inspection it was very clear that the steering arm broke. I replaced it with a regular futaba arm that i clipped to fit in the truck and I haven't had a problem since. I was just wondering if anyone else had had this problem and what they did to fix it.

You can buy a 'servo saver' type arm that has a spring in it that will actually 'give' a little when you hit stuff to keep the steering setup from damage. Goto your local hobby shop or look at Tower to get one.

what a coincidence! i do that all the time (the stock servo saver does not seen to work that well...) i just got one of those red hitec arms with 4 arms on it. i cut off three and drilled a bigger hole for the steering ball cup. it works great now

So THAT'S what a servo saver is! I've heard a bunch of you guys talk about it but I never really knew what it was. I thought it was the aluminum bracket that the servos were mounted in....duh
