I use RPM's 2.5 a-arms and Dynamites CVD's with rubber boots on two of my Maxx's. Lifetime warranty with RPM and the rubber boots on the Dynamite CVD's keep the dirt out and the lubrication in. Pretty nice set-up!

RE: .15 to 2.5 conversion kit
I have a .15 t-maxx and i'm going to convert it to a 2.5 but i'm wondering what is the best a-rms kit to get. This is the best i've found so far is the MAXX Performance Suspension Kit from pro line. I know rpm has a pieces to convert a .15 to a 2.5 but i don't think they have a kit but if they do someone let me know

You need three things. Longer A-Arms, Longer CVD's and longer turnbuckles. The proline suspension is very nice and many people use it. My reason for mentioning my set up is that it is used even more commonly as RPM comes with a lifetime warranty. About $40 for the RPM A-Arms, Around $100 - $125 for the Dynamite CVD kit which as described before has huge benefits over the competition because of the protective boots. The turnbuckles can be purchased cheaply anyplace, just look for "2.5 turnbuckles" in your search.
You could pay $50 - $60 for the Proline suspension kit but then you will still need a CVD kit. The Dynamite kit is only my recomendation for longer life between rebuilds and less maintenance. You could buy a much cheaper stock Traxxas kit for the RPM idea or the Proline idea and the end price will still be similar except for the lifetime warranty with RPM.

RE: .15 to 2.5 conversion kit
i can use stock cvd's for awhile right? I really wnat to go with rpm but not ready to fork out $150 just on that lol. I figured it was like $12 for a set of bottom and lower a-arms. So i would need 4 sets of that which is $48 then i need some titanium tunrbuckles thats another $50 but do i really need to go buy cvd's right away?

Longer CVD's are required. You don't have to pay $50 for turnbuckles either. I have seen nice front/rear sets sell for anywhere between $25 - $35. If you check out the ebay Stores you can surely find RPM A-arms for around $10 a set or $40 for all.
Right now you can get the dynamite set on ebay for $75 brand new. A full set of RPM A-arms $35 and real nice turnbuckles for under $20, hows that? $150 including S&H for everything.

Yup.
Technically, the .15 to 2.5 conversion is actually an engine conversion from the old TRX .15 to the new TRX 2.5, the modification you want to make is simply adding a "wide-maxx" suspension to the older T-Maxx to make it as wide as the new one. Now, unless you already have the new 2.5 T-Maxx or Sport Maxx then you don't need anything becasue you would already have a "wide-maxx" suspension.

RE: .15 to 2.5 conversion kit
Traxxas offers a kit that will give you everything you need to upgrade the engine from the Pro .15 to the TRX 2.5. The part number is 4900 (Traxxas part number). The only thing you will need is the engine. The kit includes everything from the exhaust to the throttle linkage all for about $40.

am I reading this correctly..With the proline supspension modified t-maxx .15, you can't run the stock cvd's. Will it work for a while or not at all.
