Is 2.5 and .15 version tranny the same?

Is 2.5 and .15 version tranny the same?
I need to buy steel gears for the transmission and i've seen 2.5 versions and .15 versions. Is there a difference because i'm converting a .15 version tmaxx to handle .21 power?
