Another "Help Identify" Request
(I do RC planes and know darn near nothing about cars.)
I recently purchased a used electric-powered RC car/truck to give as a present. The seller said it was made by Tamiya but I'm unable to find any markings. Messages to Tamiya customer service have, so far, gone unanswered. I can tell that it needs a battery pack. It appears to be full 4WD and has these components:
Novak Explorer II speed control.
Futaba FP-R122JE receiver with channel 87 crystal.
Futabe S3003 servo.
The car also came with a Futaba transmitter on channel 87 and a Hobbico quick charger.
Many thanks for any help in identifying this so I can get the correct battery and, I hope, an instruction manual. I've attached some photos of the chassis.
Cheers,
Richard
