Kraft Gyro
[:@]I need some help. I acquired a Kraft gyro: gyro unit is 11/2X11/2X1/1/2(aprox), the adjuster(?) is 2X1X1/2. There are no model numbers etc. on it. The only thing on it is Kraft Systems, Inc. I assume that Kraft is no longer. Can anyone help? It is working.[:'(]

RE: Kraft Gyro
Kraft was a big name in R/C radios 25 years ago or so. This is a mechanical gyro as opposed to the piezo gyros we have today. If it were me I'd go out and buy a new gyro. Even a cheap piezo gyro ($60 or so) should work work better and reliability won't be a problem. If you lose your gyro, depending on what fails in it, you'll either lose compensation or lose the tail altogether. At that point, you'd better be up on your autorotations!
