Default Hornet

I am geting a hornet 2 ccpm kit. what motor sould i put in it i don't want a brushless and is a 3c lipo batt a good idea. and what servos sould i go with i was thinking hs-55.

the HS 55's should be good.. this bird really needs a brushless motor (especially if you want to do 3D later) but, the Orion is a good coreless motor that seems to fly the HB really well..

I have the elite motor for the hummingbird . it is a good motor . but still not enough power!
I think the ACRO 280 BB is the one u want . it havs 4000 rpm/v !
but the elite only has 2970 rpm/v !

helimax makes a nice brushless that free spins nicely MS composits makes one also but with that one you'll need to use the one way bearing main gear. with top notch gyro and servo flies like a raptor
