Main shaft bent on aerohawk?? Please help
I've got small vibrations on my landing gear when hovering my aerohawk. It has been stable for months and I've had no crash/hard landings.
If I look at the center of the rotorhead when speeding up the rotorhead, I can see that it is moving a little bit around. Can the mainshaft be bent, or is it made of a material that cannot be bent?
If so, do I have to buy a new one or can I flatten it in some way?

Is your main shaft metal or carbon fiber? The orginal main shaft is carbon fiber and I don't think you can bend that. It does split pretty easily though.

All the AeroHawks I've seen have a slightly wobbling head on run-up with the carbon shafts, but it should calm down before take-off rpm. A friend of mine got the steel shaft with the E-clip and it's better. The carbon shafts are a little too thin, and the head assembly isn't exactly a precision component because it's made from moulded plastic.
Here's a tip that might work... Try switching the blades over. Switch places. That almost always cures unexplainable vibrations for me.
