so i asume from the amount of replys that no one knows ??

another question why do century sell a 11.1 volt lithium-ion pack for the hummingbird if they know it will burn out the board ???? just seems a bit stupid to me.they even say flight times of 15-20 minutes the the pack

Some people say that an 11.1 volt will burn the board up, but other's say it won't (I have never tried one). I am running a 2 cell 7.4 volt 2100mah and it works great, it has all kinds of power, and I am getting around 15-20 minutes of flight time.

Just put a fuse between the motor and board. No chance of blowing the board then. Simple.

No worries mate.

I've not done this myself but have heared of others doing it. (I'm still on stock cells).

But I imagine a 5amp (inline) fuse on the +ve wire will protect the board from surges from the motor if/when there is a rotor strike or the motor is impeded in any other way. I beleive this is what burns most boards!

I'm not sure I can help with that one, I'm pretty new to these things myself.

Although I noticed with my dragonfly I often get the same symptoms, i usually just land, re-trim and balance everything. this usually solves the problem. I think once a wobble develops it just increases until you cant control it anymore. I call it circular cause and effect!

Blimey Mate, first one didn't go down too well then (or is that up ).

I've been building and flying fixed wings for a few years now, but am thinking this may be causing me more problems since I naturally try and fly my heli like a plane....it dont work [&:]

If you are on your second, they have obviousley got under your skin, I know mine has.
