Default quick ? on tail prob.

Hi Ive got a piccolo fun and i went with the seprates set up ive got almost everything set up and the only problem im still having is that when i plug the gyro into the channel that it says too i get nothing from the tail when i turn it on it doesnt move an inch but after i power down main motor the tail kicks in full power and wont stop tell i turn off my transmitter it will respond to the transmitter if i tell it to change directions but thats it all other controls go dead. Im using a gws 6ch rx and gws ic 100 speed control and a ics 50 speed control aswell as a ikarus micro gyro my transmitter is a eclipse 7(im really new to helis so im not sure how to set up everything when it comes to the electronics) also when i plug it into a difrent channel it works great but to control it i have to use 2 knobs on the top of the transmitter kinda hard

Maybe you need to reverse the tail in the transmitter ?

try this:

1. set heli down in the direction you want to start flying in.
2. turn on transmitter.
3. turn on heli.
4. wait 5 seconds for your main esc and gyro to initialize (this is the key)
5. give it left rudder (move your tail stick all the way to left) and hold it there until you hear a beep. (don't know if your tail esc will beep, mine does)
6. let your left stick come back to center.
7. stand back, slowly spin up your main motor.
8. now try your tail motor.
