Default Monokote/Paint Match

I am building a Great Planes Cub and will be giving it a custom finish with Monokote Pearl White but as I have never had to have paint for the parts that won't be covered;ie cowling, landing gear, and struts; I am puzzled as to what kind of paint should be used that is also fuel proof. I will probably have the paint mixed at an auto finishing supply store. Can someone tell me what is the best kind of paint to use.
Thanks Loads and have a nice day all.

Typically, 'PPG' paints form autobody people are the way to go. And most can custom match colours, as well as put it in a spray can!

Radio South sells pre-matched PPG paint in small (4oz) amounts that matches monokote. You won't need to buy a pint or quart from the auto paint store.

Another option is to use latex paint. A custom mix QUART is about $10. Just clear coat it with some water base poly or Ultracote clear or Lusterkote clear. I like the poly since I can get the amount of gloss/shine I want (flat, satin, semi gloss, gloss). The poly is fuel resistant to 10% nitro (maybe more) and the water base does not yellow over time.
