RE: whats better Tamiya TL01 vs TB02
never mind rcmaster, he probably doesn't have both.
i would say tb02 hands down better. tl01 has easier build but less performance and features. tb02 is great, it has ball bearings ball diffs and tb evo 3 drivetrain.
for the price the tb02 is a great car. tl01 is not a bad car, its just not fast, its durable and simple, it was my first real rc. i'm gonna save up for tb02 myself, its better than getting another entry level tamiya and modding it. my opinion is that tb02 is actually not entry level, but has the price, $160ish, when compared to other tamiyas of course. its like a not so fancy tb evo, doesn't have aluminum and graphite parts, instead they are plastic, great for starting out and racing on budget, performance with aftermarket trf shocks and stabelizers and better tires (type a) plus a good esc and motor combo this car would be very similar to tb evo.
