What size batteries to use?
I have a 1/3rd scale 300 - I am planning on using two battery packs with seperate switches for the receiver - 1650 NiMH. Will that be enough for 9 servos?
What are some of you all running?

SAM
Dual 1650's is adequate for a 33% model. Just keep in mind to check your voltage prior to every flight.
I run 2700's they weight difference and cost is negligible in IMO.
SAM, please review the rules; one post per inquiry or question per member in the appropriate Forum, please.

I am flying a 33% AW Extra with 6 JR 4721's, a JR 517 on throttle and a Hitec 805 on the rudder. The plane also has two 1650mah NIMH batteries with 2 switches and 1 receiver. I usually get about a half a dozen flights with battery juice to spare.

Sam1875,
I've got a 4500mah 6v nimh pack and a 2700mah 6v nimh pack in my 35% scale. Using 8 digital servos,2 switches and a jomar battery backer. Probably overkill but I'd rather have more juice than less. Got my packs from Bern at www.superbatterypacks.com and have had good luck with them so far.

Tinman,
You can do it a couple of ways
1. Use a battery backer type device 2 packs and 2 switches
2. Use two switches one goes to the battery connection on the receiver, the other plugs into an unused servo channel. Packs can be different capacities but must be the same number of cell's.
Hope this helps.
