Contacting Mud Duck Aviation Problems?
[b]Hi Everyone,
Some modelers have contacted me via email requesting information and pricing on kits and plans only not to hear back from me (I assume). This is because on a few occasions some of the modelers who contact me have some kind of blocking in their email program or the providers are blocking email from my address (or server). I get a return email saying it has been rejected. As that is the only contact information I have for the modeler, I have tried to contact them again through a hotmail account, but I never get another response.
If you are one of the individuals who tried to contact me and never heard back, I apologize, it is not intentional. I currently do not have a dedicated phone line for the business and would prefer email as a form of contact right now for basic inquiries, I will provide my cell number via email for more comprehensive inquiries.
If you try to contact me via my main email address and don't hear back in a couple of days, please check to make sure your mail program isn't blocking addresses ending with !QUOT!optonline.net!QUOT! and try to email me at the hotmail address (and make sure that isn't blocked as well. Worst case scenario, leave a reply post here and I will give you the information. This is only temporary until I get the website online and have the email forwarding system working on it.
Main e-mail:
Back up :
Website : [link=http://www.mudduckaviation.com]www.mudduckaviation.com[/link] Coming Soon
Sorry for the inconvenience guys, I will try to have this problem resolved soon.
Thanks,
Greg

Please, If you feel it is your duty to protect this forum from !QUOT!Spam!QUOT! and to insult fellow modelers, then take the two seconds to do a search on RCU and you will find that there were only two posts by me to only this one forum spaced almost one year apart from one another and no other posts to any other forum! Additionally, while you have those search results, check them and you will find that nearly all the results that have someone asking about how to get a Mud Duck, asked on this forum and not others.
I would assume that if these individuals inquired here for that information, then they believed they belong to this community, if you don't that is your opinion, otherwise state which forum they belong to instead of being sarcastic and insulting. This was not a ploy of shameless self-promotion, I was simply receiving occasional correspondence that would reject my return mail, and being they contacted me from information on this forum, this would be the easiest way to notify them there is a communication problem.
To everyone else in this forum, I apologize if this posting has offended you by mentioning Mud Ducks (which in Constrictors mind obviously are not Fun Fly planes) or that you felt I !QUOT!Spammed!QUOT! the forum, that was never the intention. Please feel free to let me know which forum you believe this information belongs.
Apologies,
Greg

RE: Contacting Mud Duck Aviation Problems?
I know Greg personally, and while he is not quite ready to start up production and start selling kits again, he is trying to provide support for the existing Mud Duck Community by providing whatever technical and parts support that he can. His post here was not a product announcement or advertisement, but rather a way of reaching out to existing Mud Duckers who have been trying, apparently unsuccessfully, to contact him.
I am sure the R/C Community looks forward to the day when Mud Duck Aviation is fully up and running. Greg, please be sure to Post to the "Product Announcements & Manufacturer News" Forum when the website is up and you are able to start filling orders. Becoming a RCU advertiser would not be a bad thing either .

RE: Contacting Mud Duck Aviation Problems?
Ive always wanted one of these mud ducks, but Since this is a funfly arplaine area and not a giant scale spad type area, my question still is: Are you making funfly and profile planes now? or are you just advertising anywhere and everywhere for your product? Because im also interested in actual funfly planes.

RE: Contacting Mud Duck Aviation Problems?
Constrictor,
The Mud Duck line are not made of Coroplast or plastic which essentially excludes it from SPAD (Simple Plastic Airplane Designs), they are made from FoamCor board. A matter of semantics yes, but the reason I posted here.
Maybe I took your question as if it were in a bad tone, then I apologize. To answer your question literally... There are no Profile designs as of this time. Many consider all of the Ducks "Fun Fly" planes but very slow ones.
If you consider a Fun Fly plane as something fast, and hairy, then you may want to consider the CricKit. It had gotten a bad rap in the past from modelers who thought it was just a tiny Mud Duck and would fly slow and stable like the big one. It is in fact is fairly unstable (as most good 3D type models are) and highly maneuverable, Chipley called it the "hyperactive child". If you like really squirrelly planes to dance around the flightline, the CricKit may be right up your alley, definitely not a lazy day flyer.
I think I already answered your question about advertising. I have not done any advertising anywhere except this post to contact modelers who contacted me. If I were advertising "Anywhere & Everywhere" as you question, I would be promoting the items better than this maybe add some pictures and prices, etc.

Hello Greg
I have never seen a Mud Duck before, but would love to see one flying.
If you start up again please let us know as I would like to try one.
Thanks
