Default DP Ultimate with ZDZ40

i had unlimited with a 2.7 hp satio 180 so i would think a zdz swinging a 20 to 22 x 8 prop would send DP plane to the moon. I have never seen such a stong set up with that motor on the DP's. Most i see are running an OS-160 and YZ 120-140.....the fuse seems to be soft around the firewall so you know the deal if you go that rounte.....

Default DP Ult.

I have a DP Ultimate that I removed a YS 120 which would hover but would not pull out very well.I installed a Saito 180 with a 24 oz. tank and wow! This thing is a blast with gobs of power ant still floats in.The big drawback is the 180 is so thirsty and I must check over the plane after every flying session as things are shaking and pulling loose(180 pulled the firewall loose-part of it had not been glued).i ALSO HAVE A zdz 40&60.I don't think the ARF would stand that much motor. If you do install the 40 let us know. I think I'm going to go with the YS 120 or 140. They say they are alot smoother than the saito. Dave Patrick told me not to put the zdz in because I would have to reinforce it alot and that would make it very heavy. It's a tough decision because its alot of money for the YS. I have an RCS 1.4 and it's not enough for pulling out of a hover.

Default DP Ult.

I will sell you the YS 120 with the slimline muffler for $235.00 shipped in USA. The motor is almost broke in because it is still getting stronger. It will hover the Ult but when I am finished I have to kind of level out and fly off. Dave

Default Wing loading

I'm figuring the wing loading with the YS would be about 22.4 and if I go with a FPE OR ZDZ it would be around 24.5. Is that good ?Will the 2 oz make much of a difference?
