Default Need replacement hinge advise.

I have a sig lt-40 that flies well, however after my last flight, I was doing an inspection, and noticed one of its 4 elevator hinges (the easy CA hinge type) was ripped. I am not sure if this was from a move a few months ago, or flight damage (the other 3 seem to be in excellent shape). Since I dont want to cut the other three and do all the hinges again, anyone have advice on making a repair hinge for the control surface? I was thinking of makine a hinge by using a small strip of ultracote above and below the damaged hinge , but not sure if that is a good idea. Any suggestions?
