Default Grearing for 11Turn motor in TC3

I just put a new 11turn motor into my tc3, right now I still have the gearing in it from racing stock 27 turn.
What would you suggest?

is it the stock spur? I would guess around a 17 pinion, I have a 21 in my TC3 with a 6T single that is just uesd for speed. it runs about 150 which is a good temp i was told.

that will be only a lil quiker, i think youll be dissapointed unless your 19 was beat, i went down to a 14t orion, a big difference from the 19 then i put a 7 cell, night and day, and a one way front diff to boot, its my favorite car ever, i actually chose this over the trf415, it just felt better with the same setup its easier to correct itself while driving.

wow thats imprssive
what type of cells were they?
I am making two 7 cell packs out of an opened 18V drill battery
I was amazed to see they were 1300mah nicad and SC size.
I still havent used my GP3300 pack, I'm saving it for racing.

The gearing should be around 21/72 thats if your using the stock spur gear, for the 11turn motor and if your going to a 12turn and up then gear up 22t pinion gear. A great ESC would be a GT7 and 3300 club cells , RED

I already have a Cyclone TC which is very very close to the GT7 I also have some GP3300 cells but I am waiting on wire and a new soldering iron before I use them.

Are you using 14 gauge wire ? Nothing like a good soldering gun to get the job done, got a pistol soldering gun that heats up like a rocket works great, What other motors are you planning on running? RED

I have 12 guage wire on most of it (motor to esc and esc to battery.) I think its 12 guage it is made by novak, and is very thick.
I just switched from stock motors (Paradox pro & Midnight 2), to the 11x2 Team orion rush motor.
I am thinking of buying the novak super sport system just because comm lathes are expensive and i hate maintnence.
If anyone is interested in either esc I may sell them.
I have heard bad things about soldering guns I am looking into getting an adjustable soldering iron because I use it for lots of different applications. ( Now I use a 40W which I think is too low for soldering battery tabs and stuff.

I like mine its my first experiance with modified.
I read an article about them on the net saying they were not too good but I havent seen any of the problems they listed on my motor.
I re built it before use though.
Nick
I just need a comm lathe now or the brushless. SO I can use it more. (I also need new tires and a new front shock tower which I am buying today.
I looked at my wiring today and it is 12 guage.
