Hey there. My floor on my dormitory want to get into RC after seeing my Savage =) However...we don't all have enouhg money to buy a savage. Thus, the most we decided to spend was up to ~$150 each.
It needs to be/have:
-radio and equipment
-better off RTR
-fast
-off-road style (buggy or truck)
It doesnt really matter if it's electric or nitro. I looked into electric but the idea of recharging every 15 minutes kinda bums me out. I really like my nitro cars. I looked into the mini-T but i dont know how long the batteries will last on there. I read the reviews but it doesnt say how long it'll last on a ni-mH pack. I dont really know if those things qualify for "fast" either.
I saw the nitro buggies on ebay for $150 but i dont know about the quality of them.
What do you guys suggest?

check out the venom mini giant or VMG,i got mine RTR for a $170 canadian so that will probably be less than a $150 US.these things are unstoppable.the first upgrade you should get is the bearing set.then the fireball.they are very good off roaders and they are coming out with oil filled shocks.
