Death tower for FMS - Landscape used at JDM-Nivelles contest
The FMS simulator contest at the JDM-Nivelles 2004 Air Show was a great success!
The landscape and airplane model used for the contest will be soon available for download
in an 'Article' at [link]http://www.jdm-nivelles.be[/link]
The landscape has an arcade or bridge to fly under and a "death tower" to fly thru.
Also the targets to get points by putting the shadow of the plane on it.
UNIQUE FOR FMS ! ! !
A pilot succeeded in entering the tower horizontally and exiting vertically !
The plane is a modified yellow PT-17.
How many points will you get in 90 seconds??
Take off and successful landing anywhere each bring 10 points, every target is 1 pt, the arcade and the tower 2 pts every time,
landing on the runway gives an additional 2 pts.
You must press "C" to follow the plane, and adjust the zoom ( + and - keys) to have the view shown in the "info" folder.
RC transmitters and PIC cables were used (refer to (simple)PCM on the JDM-Nivelles website)
Have good flights and a lot of fun!

Download the landscape, the plane (model) and instructions to count the score. All in a ZIP file.
Contest duration is 90 sec.

The bridge to fly under:
The 'Death Tower'. You can also exit 'vertically' ! ! !
