.21's have a lot more tourqe than a small block. Tourqe is what will kill your drive train. I have a T-Maxx with a Wasp .26 on it. Right after i broke it in I took off and wraped my center driveline that goes to the back wheels. So I got a hardcore racing center driveline, and the driveline workes great. Then less than 1 tank of gas later I broke my rear drivelines. one broke then the other because I was running a spool. I replaced the rear drive lines with MIP's and they work great have'nt broke em yet. Before I could even get a whole tank trough it before it broke. The front center driveline, so I ran it just rear wheel drive for a little while. I bought a MIP center drivelines, and those work good also. I stripped out bouth forward and reverse gears in my tranny. So I said forget reverse, and I bought a robinson forward only kit with a steel gear, that works good too. The forward and reverse primary gear went next. I replaced that one with dynamite steel gear, and have'nt had any problems. The 2-speed seems to not be that bad I stripped the first imput gear, so I just bought a new stock one. It has lasted about a gallon now. I left the stock front drivelines for a while, the plastic drivelines in the front make your truck handle funny with all steel drive lines. It puts like 70% of power to the rear and like 30% to the front. The front drive lines dont useually break unless you are running full throttle while you are turning. I broke too many front drivelines so I replaced them with MIP's as well. Now the truck is pretty reliable.

I had a T maxx with the O.S .21 RZ in it and i never had any trans or diff problems but just like said about the shafts thats the onlt real probs i had. I couldnt keep front plastic sliders in it so i put MIP CVDs in the front and then the backs blew out. So i put MIP CVDs in the back and the center shafts blew out lol.

So in other words get some MIP CVDs all the way around and you will get rid of the biggest probs
