Skinning foam wings
I have an Ace RC Ultimate that has been converted to controlline. It has the molded foam wings with the little dimples. I'd like to cover the wings well enough to hide the foam texture without getting killed on weight. I'm familiar with low-temp iron-ons, white glue and paper, and half ounce glass cloth and epoxy. What's your experience doing this? What is the concensus on the lightest way to go about it? I may well settle for iron-on film, but just thinking about options. It is already borderline heavy for what I would ideally want, so I'm watching weight carefully.
Thanks!

RE: Skinning foam wings
What works for me is a material for laminating documents obtained at Staples.A stickyback clear plastic. that can be heat shrunk at around 200 degrees F with a Monocoat iron. Stretches around wingtips like Monocoat. Can be painted with waterbase acrylic paint. Hope this helps.
