RE: Aero Works Ultimate worth the money?
DP is coming out with one. Maybe I should go to the show they will be attending in Chicago in a couple of weeks. I just love thier 120 size Ultimate. Plus they are not to far from me. I could pick it up directly from them. I had a Extra 330L but never flew it. it was sure a beauty though. Maybe I will call them to check and see. I am in no real hurry yet. Thanks for the tip.

RE: Aero Works Ultimate worth the money?
I JUST GOT MINE FOR 495.00 THIS MONTH ON THE LAST DAY. I SURE AM STOKED!!!!!!
MY EDGE 540 AW IS AWESOME. KEEP ULTRACOAT CLEAN, AND I VERY RARELY HAVE TO
IRON BEFORE I LOAD UP. AS FAR AS AW QUALITY IF YOU ARE MEANT TO FLY A TRAINER,
FLY A TRAINER!!!!! IF YOU CAN 3D AND NOT JUST TALK ABOUT, THEN YOU CAN LAND YOUR
NICE CLEAN PLANE AND NOT HAVE GEAR ISSUES OR ANY OTHER. AW PLANES ARE SOME OF THE BEST...
DONT STRAY FROM THE TRAINER TO SOON

Just talked to Sandy at DP. She says they are coming out with a 70 inch wing span bipe and it will be on display next week at Chicago. DA50 or Moki 2.10 is recommended engine. Hope I can make it there to see.

RE: Aero Works Ultimate worth the money?
Well I have a used Aeroworks 27% Ultimate headed this way via Greyhound Bus. I traded my new in box Wild Hare 28% Extra 300 LX straight across for the completed airframe with some flight time. I sure hope its as nice as the ones pictured above.
I need some help with aileron servos. The manual suggests 70 in-oz min. Is this really enough? I was thinking Futaba S3050 digital coreless MG servos ($50) for each aileron. They are rated at 90 in-oz and 0.16 sec/60 degrees. Will this be enough torque? I am not into heavy 3D. I like precision aerobatics more and am just now dabbling in 3D. I appreciate any advise you can give. Thanks!

Blue Ice, if you get to Chicago take a digital camera and get some pictures! I'd love to see what it looks like! I'd also like more info on transport(disassembly) weight etc... Thanks!

I just got a digital camera for my b-day. If I can figure how to us it I will take plenty of pictures and a few notes also.

All these people *****ing about the price of the Ultimate 395.00$ now on Christmas special
and the new Dave Patrick Bipe comes out and guess fffnnnn what (700.00$) thats right folks
(700.00$) no air foiled stabs and requires flying wires and the worst service out of everyone.
Check out AWs X-mas sale on their website........................................... .............................
I sure love my AW Ultimate, no flying wires, removable stabs, lots of friendly advice if needed.

I have the 33% and building it. It seems to me as a good quality ARF.
Brian, did you buy a purpule arf and then remonokote the purple on it and switched to Yellow? I was planing on doing that with a light orange.

they offer it in purple or yellow. It is a sweat plane. With a da-50 it will need nose weight though. Also use 1/2 of thier recomended low rates for low and thier low rates for high.
