Default Alcohol in fuel

ok, two things. I don't have a nitro, but I was just wondering if you add pure alcohol to the fuel mix, would it ruin your engine, or go really fast. And are there any actual on road racetracks in atlanta? thanks.

Yes, it would "Ruin" you engine,,,
Unless you add a sufficiant amount of oil lubricant as well

it wouldnt make your car go faster if you add alcohol to the fuel, it could actully give you less power, because nitro fuel is methyl alcohol, nitro methane, and oil. adding alcohol will give you a lower % of nitro and oil, less nitro=less power less oil=more wear on engine.

Butane would be hard I doubt the engine would be able to get enough oxygen to combust everything properaly
Nirtrous on the other hand works well as it contains oxygen itself and lower the air to fuel ratio need too I think
these engines have too many limitations with porting and stuff if it were not for that we could put super chargers on them
and have it work

yeah, I know nitrous would work for a little while, except it the weight/power ratio of the bottle would make you lose power with a five pound bottle(smallest i've seen) and like a 12 gram would last like a quarter second, and if you really have enough time to hook up a nitrous system to your car, you need to go get hit by traffic, unless it's dry, or MAYBE wet. lol.
