Default Need info on obsolete/newer turbines?????

I get so confused on which turbines are being manufactured today verses the ones you see for sale(used) that may be out of date/ manufacture. Can someone give a quick list of which turbines are not manufactured anymore and which are currently being manufactured. Brand names would be ok rather than model #'s, unless that is of some important issue. I can only afford a "used" turbine right now, but don't want to purchase one that I would regret? Thanks, Tom, somewhat newbie at turbines.

One thing to keep in mind. JPX are still very much in business and will service their engines. They just dont make our toys anymore.Paul.

I would if the used turbine was still being sold and/or supported by the manufacturer. Best situation for buying a used turbine would be just after it had a check up.

My first turbine was a used RAM 750 autostart. I bought it knowing that it still could be repaired if/when needed. RAM has been out of business for a few years now. But the turbines are now serviced by Carlos of RTI. My RAM ECU can be updated too by Bob Price.
