Dimension on 65" Yak - Question for Mike
Mike,
I'm the guy looking at putting the G26 on the 65" Yak. Can you tell me the approximate height of the fuselage in the area around the back end of the motor? I understand that the fuselage is 3/4" thick.
Thanks
Chuck

RE: Dimension on 65" Yak - Question for Mike
Hey Chuck, sorry for the delays but I've been off having some fun with the family. The height is about 8.375" behind the engine. Engine is mounted on the centerline. The fuselage is actually 7/8" thick (1/16 sheeting over 3/4 foam) for the most part but is 1 inch thick at the front due to the extra 1/16" ply doublers. Hope this helps!
Yep, I'm another damn engineer myself. We know all the angles!
