Blade pitch setup help
I am trying to set up a Logo 20 electric helicopter. I am a beginner, and I am not looking for areobatic flight right now. Would you reccomend a blade pitch of 2 degrees negative and about 8 positive? Also is the tail rotor blades supposed to be in a neutral position with the servo centered? WHat would you think would be a far price to pay for lessons on this helicopter for a beginner?

RE: Blade pitch setup help
The pitch gauge will give you a rough starting pitch setting and that soubd fine to me. You may want to hover it and see if you cut the throttle, the heli drop too fast or not. If so, you may want to even set the pitch to zero at the lowest point. If you set the lowest pitch too much, the heli will "float" and you don't want that either. As for the maximum pitch, if +8 gives you a good climb, then try +9 or +10 to see if you can even get a better climb out without bogging the motor and maintain the rotor head speed.
As for the tail rotor, when the rudder stick is in center, you will want to have a small "right" rudder input but eventually you will trim it at the hovering point.
