If the JPO is a registered SIG with the AMA, are there any plans to become like the IMAA and offer club chapters?

Perhaps then we could have jet events that are JPO sanctioned events.

there are presently JPO approved events, ones where a trophy is donated by the JPO to be given away. CD's simply fill out a form, have current JPO status, and submit it to their JPO rep. These get listed in the contrails publication and on the website. I know david is including more on the website than those who have applied to the JPO for trophies, but I think there is still the fear of "exclusiveness"... There were plans for a JPO member exclusive event several years ago, the fallout against it was so loud it was restructured as a all inclusive event and not looked into again.

A JPO sanctioned event would still have to be AMA sanctioned and thus would fall under AMA insurance coverage and it's rules. Just as IMAA sanctioned Big Bird meets are also AMA sanctioned.

Yes I know, I just think having JPO chapters at various clubs might be a way to promote JPO and turbine jet flying. While at the same time allow for a more realistic managing approach for the AMA. Currently JPO is a SIG for AMA so why not also have the opportunity for clubs to file as JPO chapters. It certainly would give a reason for more people to join JPO.
