Got my revo back together last night. Took me five hours to tear it apart and seven to put it back together. It tears it up with that 40 tooth spur gear now. Tower Hobbies was great. Got my parts overnighted to me so I'm racin on saturday.

Dude. I am talking TOTALLY assembled. I had every single screw for the whole truck in a tupperware container, and all the parts in the bottom of my tool box. You ever tear it down that far?

it was close... the only thing I didn't do was tear down the trans. The first time, though... does take a bit longer...

tada we have a winner! Had a looooooooooooot of muddin in the last few runs before I tore it down. I rebuilt my shocks and checked some things on the motor also. Looks good now. That 40 tooth spur gear I put on rather than the stock 38, I still dust my buddies Rustler. I love it. It is funny, I watch my revo take off by it's self I'm like not bad, I watch his rustler and i say, holy ****, then the two race and I win, I don't get it.

exactly, remember back in the day buying RC cars at walmart. "goes over 100 SCALE miles per hour!" your eye/brain does a good job of associating a speed with an object of a certian size. So you THINK its going a lot faster than it is because of its size. (or slower as the case may be, which is why people have a tendancy to miss judge the speed of oncommon trains. there phyiscal size fools you into thinking its going much slower than it is, making you think you have more time than actuall to make that crossing)

Makes sense. Just like when you feel like your going real slow in a truck that is jacked up in the air but if you go the same speed in a sport compact you feel like your flyin, lower to the ground.
