ORIGINAL: jbalat

Guys I just got mine the other day from flying-hobby. I have set it up with 4ch Hitek555 receiver
Hey man, One thing is for sure, you can't run it off a 4CH receiver. Min is 5 (one channel for throttle, ANOTHER for pitch) Our new Peizo? Gyro has a sensor lead that needs an extra channel, so it NEEDS 6, but you could get away with 5 with some other Gyros. Look for my earlier post of 'Shogun setup" something or another, and you can get some great advice from FOX222...

If you have never worked a heli like this, try to find a real pilot to explain things to you. throttle alone does not give lift!

Good luck,

Scott

PS I forget who mentioned the LG, But we agree. Before even trying to spin the head, be built our own custom LG for it. It can ve made with 3/8" pvc tube, screws, a drill, some epoxy and some fiddling.
